YDC received authorization from the state of NJ to re-start its outpatient clinic

 YDC’s Evaluation Criteria:

YDC staff uses empirically validated evaluation instruments like Clinical Assessment of Behavior (CAB) and Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills (ABLLS-R). The data is then entered into a YDC database which allows for a measure of pre and post intervention.

The Clinical Assessment of Behavior (CAB)

is designed to assist in identifying children and adolescents who are in need of behavioral, educational, or psychiatric treatment or intervention. Examples of referrals are aggressive behavior, ADHD, poor social skills, and anxiety. This tool facilitates treatment planning and then determines the level of improvement by the end of treatment.

The Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills (ABLLS)

is an educational tool used to measure the basic linguistic and functional skills of an individual with developmental delays or disabilities. The ABLLS is commonly used with children with autism spectrum disorders to assess their strengths and weaknesses in each of twenty-five skill sets, including receptive language, classroom routines, play and leisure, and grooming.
